An internationally touring rock band from South Wales, The Blackout were originally active from 2003 to 2015 before reforming in 2022. Since their return, they have played major stages including Download Festival and Slam Dunk Festival, alongside a full UK tour, reaffirming their reputation as one of the UK’s most dynamic live acts. Across their career, they have toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and Japan, sharing stages with artists such as My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, All Time Low, Blink-182 and Bring Me The Horizon.
With three UK Top 40 albums: The Best in Town (2009), Hope (2011), and Start the Party (2013), the band have built a strong and enduring connection with audiences.
For CULTVR, The Blackout are exploring new ways to translate their live energy into innovative formats and this project reflects the band’s commitment to reimagining how audiences can experience music.
