SLOWLY ROLLING CAMERA – 10TH ANNIVERSARY
Immersive live performance celebrating the 10th anniversary of Slowly Rolling Camera with 360º visuals by 4Pi Productions.
Join us for a special live performance with Slowly Rolling Camera celebrating 10 years since their first album. With their sixth studio album ‘Silver Shadow’ being released this summer this performance will envelop audiences in the dynamic interplay of magnetic melodies and cinematic visuals.
The core trio Dave Stapleton, Deri Roberts, and Elliot Bennett drive the band’s collective ethos, alongside a vibrant ensemble of collaborators including Jon Goode on bass, Josh Arcoleo on sax, Stuart McCallum on guitar. Their genre-defying approach and profound emotional depth have drawn comparisons to icons like The Cinematic Orchestra and GoGo Penguin, capturing hearts worldwide and earning acclaim from The Guardian and Crack Magazine, among others.
Accompanied by an immersive visual score created by award winning studio 4Pi Productions, this XR performance pushes the possibilities of storytelling within shared immersive spaces inspired by the visual and musical interplay found in moving images.
FILM SCREENING: THE RIVER OF MIRRORS
Before the live performance we will be screening the film The River of Mirrors, a modern revival of the soul and style of pioneering surf films of the 1970s. A paddlesports cinematic experience that looks beyond adrenaline and ego with a soundscore composed by Slowly Rolling Camera. A love letter to water. A kayak film unlike any other.
