Originally developed by AADN (Lyon, FR) Immersive Labs / Labos Immersifs are structured as a hybrid programme between a residency and a co-creation lab to facilitate experimentation and knowledge exchange between artists.
In 2025, the programme was hosted by Society for Arts & Technology (Montreal) and brought together partners and artists from France, Canada, Taiwan, Brazil and Wales.
In 2026, CULTVR will host the third edition, bringing together a team of artists to co-develop an original piece of immersive audiovisual work. Over the course of five days, the participants will explore creative methodologies, share technical and artistic expertise and collaboratively design a new fulldome experience.
