HOW TO PLAN YOUR VISIT

Have a look at our website to familiarize yourself with the space. Read the info below to learn about the new adaptations and our COVID-19 procedures / CULTVR Lab's community guidelines for your visit. We have limited our capacity to 50 at any one time on our opening weekend to guarantee social distancing.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

  • Check our opening times: Have a look online for our new opening hours for the Cafe/Bar. They might change from weekend to weekend. Our website will have the most up to date info.
  • Online Bookings: In order to provide contactless check-ins, please book your table prior to your arrival. In order to adhere to current regulations we have limited our table capacity to a maximum of up to 6 people.
  • Limited Capacity: We are limiting the number of people at the Lab. As you arrive, you may be asked to wait outside until your table is ready. If you don’t have a booking you will be accommodated when possible, based on capacity.
  • Card Payments: Only payments by card will be accepted.
  • Under the current circumstances we’re not currently allowing under 18s into the cafe and bar. We will review this on an ongoing basis.

DURING YOUR VISIT

  • You will be asked upon arrival to give your contact details for purposes of tracing people in the event of an outbreak being linked to the venue. Our host will guide you through the process.
  • We’ll ask that everyone who visits The Lab is in mutual agreement with us to distance two meters from people not in your party, both our team and other visitors alike.
  • Face Masks: Please wear a mask whenever possible both indoors and outdoors but especially when visiting the gallery, bar or toilet.
  • Hand sanitising stations have been added throughout the space.
  • Follow directional signage within the space.
  • Please do not move furniture, let us know if you need more seating.
  • Please be patient with us – we’re a new venue opening under the strangest of circumstances so we might not get everything right the first time. Constructive feedback is welcomed!

MORE ABOUT US

  • Face Covering: All team members are supplied with visors and will wear them at all times while in the workplace until recommended otherwise.
  • Hand Washing: The team is required to frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitiser that is strategically placed throughout the space.
  • Clean & Disinfect: Hourly cleaning and sanitising of the main shared areas will be undertaken by team members.
  • Pre-opening Cleaning: The entire Lab is regularly cleaned, disinfected and sanitized each morning prior to opening.

We know this has been a really tough time for so many people, and we want to make sure that everyone who comes here, and our team feels safe and looked after. It will be a learning curve for all of us, but we’ll get through it together and enjoy ourselves as well.
